Crochet Remy
Made this little "Remy" from the movie Ratatouille, for my grandson, Josiah, who loves that movie. The pattern was on Craftster.
Pink Mohair Moebius Scarf
Made this "moebius" scarf for my daughter Mary for Christmas. The yarn is a mohair blend, Paton's Lacette, which is a discontinued yarn. The pattern was a free one that I downloaded off the internet.

Slipper Socks & Matching Headband
I crocheted these for my sweet granddaughter, Skye, for Christmas. She picked out the yarn at the LYS that used to be in Mt. Dora. It's a soft, chenille with her favorite pink and purple colors. I got the pattern from this book: Crocheted Socks.
Mice for Biz & Dexter...
I crocheted a couple of mice for my grand-kitties, Biz & Dexter. I got the pattern off the internets, but now that I'm looking for it I can't find it! anyway, it was super easy. I'll try to get the pattern posted later.

Mama Knits
My daughter Mary bought me this print for my birthday, from Etsy. It beautifully combines two of my favorite things - knitting & nesting dolls! I bought the ceramic tile frame off of Etsy too.
White Baby Afghan and Bunny
Afghan I made for Leslee's baby shower at her Dad's house.
I've used this pattern a lot. It's on the wrapper of the Pound of Love skein of yarn that I use. It's easy, fast and pretty, a good combination!
I got the bunny pattern off of another wrapper. This isn't the exact pattern but it's pretty similar.

Birthday Bookmark
Pink Cross
I made this for a thank you present for my hair stylist Nancy. I also was experimenting with the picture. I actually took this on the scanner with the lid up. I was pretty happy with the way it came out - the pink stands out well with the black back ground.

Christmas Afghan
Christmas Afghan. Used Lion Brand Homespun Yarn in Christmas Colors. Here is the Free Pattern. I used the recommended colors, but I made it a little bigger by buying one more skein for each color (so 3 skeins per color instead of 2). You use a huge crochet hook - an S. It is a nice big thick afghan.

Craft Room Before and After
My craft room was a hideous flat orange. This picture actually makes it look nicer than it really looked.
This is how it ended up after I painted. It looks much better. I've added a lot more shelving but haven't taken any new pictures yet. Will update soon.

Cross for a Friend of Bryce's
This is a cross bookmark I made for a friend of my nephew Bryce. It's in his new school colors.
Various Bookmarks
More book marks from my current favorite small project book, 3 Dozen and One Bookmarks. :) Going to use these to put in birthday cards.
Timmy's Tic Tac Toe
Made this plastic canvas tic tac toe board for my great-nephew Timmy. I just made up the pattern (it was pretty easy).
I put velcro on the backs of the markers.

Attempting Gloves
This is a picture of a pair of gloves a friend wants me to make for her daughter for Christmas. It's gloves that leave the finger and thumb tips open for texting.
This is what I have done so far. I am using a generic glove pattern and just leaving the tip of of the index finger and thumb off.
Using gray Caron Simply Soft.
Book Marks
I sent this daffodil bookmark to my friend, Patty, for her birthday. I used 3 Dozen and One Bookmarks and mercerized cotton thread.
Also made this bookmark for Loyd's brother, Scott. Also a birthday present, also using 3 Dozen and One Bookmarks:
Ok, well, this didn't make it into the envelope when the card got mailed. Oh well. :(

Yellow Baby Afghan
I made this yellow baby afghan from the Pound of Love wrapper. I didn't make it with the hood because I ran out of the yellow, so I just edged it in white.
Bryce's Cross
This was for my nephew Bryce's birthday. I got the pattern from a book called 3 Dozen and One Bookmarks. I'm planning on making them ALL!

Purses for the Girls
I made these two purses for Mary & Leslee's birthdays (daughter and daughter-in-law). The black one I made for Mary, with nylon thread, from a kit I bought at Sip & Knit, a very cute little local yarn shop, in Maitland. The white on I made with Sugar n Cream cotton yarn, which I like a lot. I got the pattern from futuregirl.

Yet more scrunchies...
I really like this loopy cream colored scrunchie, it was the best combination of color and pattern.
All these are soon to be available on our Etsy site: The Little Bird Cafe.
Scrunchie Bracelet
I crocheted this with beige mercerized cotton thread and glass beads around a hair tie. I made it to be a scrunchie but it could be a bracelet. (The picture is not that great - it came from my phone.)

Loyd's Pencil Holder
I made this pencil holder for Loyd's birthday. It kind of matches his coasters. I just made up the pattern.
Jojo's Artwork
And now for the main attraction! My grandson Josiah's artswork!
Tada!
It's spaghetti and meatballs! He's a genius!!
Butterscotch Mohair Butterfly Hat
Here is another in the series of butterfly hats, featuring my favorite model, the lovely and amazing Skye.
I also made a yellow mohair butterfly hat. It looks similar to the yellow mohair hat below, but it has the signature butterfly in it. Again I got that butterfly design from Vallieskids.
