I'm trying to learn how to knit socks. I'm starting on these basic socks, which are made using 4 bamboo needles, size 7 and a soy blend worsted yarn that has a silky, cottony feel. I am learning from the book Get Started Knitting Socks, which I bought used on Amazon.
Ok, so this is the "finished" sock. I'm considering this a practice sock, since I made a few mistakes on it. I really did enjoy making it though, and look forward to making and actual pair of socks. :)

I can't wait to see what these look like. I recently bought bamboo DPNs for a baby hat I made.... they're so weird feeling after using aluminum ones for so long!
