Hats

I made these two hats today while I was watching my grandson Aiden.

This one is called Olivia's Butterfly and I got the pattern from Vallieskids. Thanks for sharing, Vallie!

I got the pattern for this one off of FaveCrafts.com.

My darlin' granddaughter, Skye, is the model.

My daughter Mary is selling these for me at her Etsy shop, The Little Bird Cafe.

Lucky Lamb

I made this for my daughter-in-law Nicole, who wanted it for a little girl she knows who loves lambs. I got the pattern out of a book called Crocheted Toys and Dolls, by Susan Verkest. It uses a loop stitch that I have never done before but I like the way it came out.

Father's Day Coasters

I worked like mad trying to get these done for Loyd for Father's Day.

It's supposed to be a music stand with sheet music on it.

And here is the Patriarch, enjoying his present....

Tobler Sun Hats

Little toddler sun hats. Or "tobler" as my grandson Aiden would say. I found the pattern on the interweb (as Tracy Jordan would say) :)

I tried to use my grandson Josiah as a model for the hat, but it didn't quite work - Jojo has the Big Boldman Head. Plus it's really a girl hat. But isn't he CUTE?

Aiden's Sock Monkey

Aiden saw Skye's sock monkey and he wanted one too. Blue is his favorite color, he wants everything blue, even his sock monkey. The pattern was free on the q.d.patootie blog. The yarn is the Caron Simply Soft, which I love.

Book Marks

This is a little heart bookmark I made for my sister Kari. I used gold metallic thread and this free pattern.

I made this one for my nephew, Jonathan, for his 15th birthday.

Sock Monkey Girl

This is the sock monkey I made for Skye. I used Caron Simply soft yarn. Two strands held together make the heather effect. The pattern is from  Leisure Arts Sock Monkeys

Skye loves her sock monkey!
