Anna's Kitchen Curtains!

Anna asked me to make some kitchen curtains for her new house. I haven't sewn anything in awhile, and even though curtains are pretty simple I was a little nervous about getting the measurements right and doing the cuts. I think they came out ok, I can't wait to see them hanging up!

UPDATE: Here is the finished product hanging up in the kitchen!

Starburst Table Runner

This time I made something for myself! A runner for under the pictures in my room.

I used this free pattern from the Coats & Clark website.

Charity Hat

I thought I would make a charity baby hat in between each project I do. This one came out a little small, so we're calling it a preemie hat. I'm going to make a bunch, different colors & patterns and then find a local charity to give them to.

I used this super CUTE book: Baby Beanies, by Amanda Keeys and Caron Simply Soft Yarn, heather gray. I set a goal for myself to make every hat in the book, just using the yarn I have, which of course is a ridiculous amount of yarn. I would never have to go to the yarn store again. Yeah. Right.

Here is the finished product. I added tassels to it, which is what the pattern called for.

Craft Tat

I got this tattoo about a year ago, at Euphoria Tattoos in Tallahassee. I'm surprised I haven't posted it to my "craft" blog before!

Baby Sweater

A sweater for my soon-to-be-born granddaughter, Iliana Christine. The yarn is a cream worsted weight baby yarn, I lost the label, so I'm not sure what brand. I got the pattern from the Crochet Today Baby and Kids Book, Spring 2013.  I still need to put the buttons on it, and there's a hat that goes with it too.

Nicole's Slippers

My daughter in law Nicole is having a baby in a few weeks and asked me to make her these slippers for the hospital. They are super easy and fast!

The yarn is Caron Simply Soft and I got the pattern here.
