Attempting Gloves

This is a picture of a pair of gloves a friend wants me to make for her daughter for Christmas. It's gloves that leave the finger and thumb tips open for texting.

This is what I have done so far. I am using a generic glove pattern and just leaving the tip of of the index finger and thumb off.

Using gray Caron Simply Soft.

Book Marks

I sent this daffodil bookmark to my friend, Patty, for her birthday. I used 3 Dozen and One Bookmarks and mercerized cotton thread.

Also made this bookmark for Loyd's brother, Scott. Also a birthday present, also using 3 Dozen and One Bookmarks:

Ok, well, this didn't make it into the envelope when the card got mailed. Oh well. :(

Yellow Baby Afghan

I made this yellow baby afghan from the Pound of Love wrapper. I didn't make it with the hood because I ran out of the yellow, so I just edged it in white.

Various Bookmarks

More bookmarks from 3 Dozen and One Bookmarks. I put them into birthday cards.

Bryce's Cross

This was for my nephew Bryce's birthday. I got the pattern from a book called 3 Dozen and One Bookmarks. I'm planning on making them ALL!

Purses for the Girls

I made these two purses for Mary & Leslee's birthdays (daughter and daughter-in-law). The black one I made for Mary, with nylon thread, from a kit I bought at Sip & Knit, a very cute little local yarn shop, in Maitland. The white on I made with Sugar n Cream cotton yarn, which I like a lot. I got the pattern from futuregirl.

I made this cross stitch card for Kelly & Mike's 10th anniversary. I can't believe it's been 10 years!

Yet more scrunchies...

I really like this loopy cream colored scrunchie, it was the best combination of color and pattern.

All these are soon to be available on our Etsy site: The Little Bird Cafe.
